My kitchen floor has been covered in paper lately. Alex and Annie have been coloring up a storm, literally, and Alex has recently had some meaning and form to his pictures. He's his commentary on a couple of my favorites.
This picture is of the solar system. The lower right one is earth and the one above it is Jupiter. The rest of the planets remain unnamed by the artist.
This is a picture of the sun and clouds.
This is a picture of "tornadoes ripping through Oiowa (Iowa), you know the state in the middle of the country. It's grass is getting all sucked up."
This is Alex's rendition of the rain and storms we had go through the area yesterday.
This is a picture of the storms that occured when Christ died. The orange is fire, the zig zags in the middle are tornadoes, and black on the bottom is earthquakes and the black on the top is thunder. He's fascinated with this event in history.

And you were worried about his imagination? Pretty good stuff here, if you ask me!
