Friends

I love it that Annie and Alex are becoming friends. Like most other siblings out there, they have their good moment and their not so good moments. They like to help daddy empty the dishwasher together. Alex gets it out of the dishwasher and hands it to Annie who then hands it to Daddy to put away. I really hope Shaun washes everyone's hands before they start this process.Where they play the best is probably the park. There aren't toys to fight over or doors for Alex to close Annie out with, there's just swings, slides and tons of room to run around in. Alex is even getting big enough to kind of push Annie in the swings. What actually happens is Alex pushes all his weight against her to get her up in the air, but then he hasn't learned how to get out of the way when she comes back down so all her momentum is lost as she runs into him and knocks him down. Annie also doesn't want to be treated like a baby when Alex gets to do something so she's been insisting on using the big kids swings. This particular day at the park was chilly. Annie had three layers of clothes on and so I could pull her arms through the swing seat supports. It kept in the seat even though Alex was pushing her.

If only when they are older they could remember how much they love each other.
