Thomas the Tank Engine for President

Like a good American, I went and voted today. I took both the kids with me and as we were standing in line, Alex asked me what we were doing. I told him we were voting for the next president. He didn't understand that at all, so I told him we were picking who we wanted to have as the next boss of the country. He thought about it for a minute and then told me, "Mommy, I vote for Thomas to be the boss!" I asked him why he wanted Thomas the Tank Engine to be the boss. "I just like him." Well, that is a lot of people's reason for voting the way they did.
