Once upon a time there was a little girl, Annie, who wanted to go sledding like her brother. She asked her Mom over and over again to help her, but Mommy said, "No. I have a ton to do right now. You are a big girl, you can do it." After whining a little bit more with no further response from Mom, Annie decided to try to do it herself.
But it's hard work to drag a sled behind you.
But she kept going, dragging and tugging and making that sled follow her.
Every so often she fell down and got stuck.
But with a little encouragement from her big brother...
she managed to get up again, and keep going...just a little bit further.
Yay!! She made it up the hill and into the sled...
but, dang it, she couldn't get it to move!
I guess that's what big brothers are for. He fixed the rope...
and got her going down the hill.
All that hard work was definitely worth it!
