Aha!
Me and the kids were cuddling before bedtime tonight when Alex yelled, "Aha! I get it now. Twenty, Thirty, Forty, Fifty, Sixty, Seventy, Eighty, Ninety!" Then he got up and while spinning in circles and making all of us dizzy, he counted to one hundred with no help at all. All of a sudden the concept made sense to him.
