The Almost Perfect Park

Yesterday I was told of a wonderful toddler park, and it is! It's a fairly little park completely surrounded by a fence. The ground is made of that recycled tires stuff, and the playground itself is virtually owie proof. It does have one big downfall. There is not a bit of shade anywhere, but if you go before 10 am it doesn't matter much. Alex and Annie loved playing in the new park. They liked the swing they could ride in together and Alex loved the slides. My favorite part was sitting on the bench talking with another mom, without worrying too much about where the kids would escape to. And that is great considering Annie is getting so good at "exploring" anything she can find at home. Don't give her 30 seconds in the kitchen. It only takes her that long to empty out the dirty rag bucket, pull down a few soup cans from the shelf, and find the baggie with the chip clips in it and scatter the 20 of them on the floor. I have a witness! The park is better. She can touch about anything she wants there.

The parks up there (in your state of residence) are so nice! I got to go to one with my sister and we loved it!
How do did you do that pic of Alex? That is so neat.
