Ever since Alex watched the shuttle take off in Florida, he's really gotten into outer space. Today he set up a little circle rug on the floor, stood on it, counted down from 5, and then ran around the house screaming at the top of his lungs. After five minutes of this I told him that he needed to lower his voice and stop all the screaming. His response, "Mommy, space shuttles aren't quiet when they take off, they're very loud!"
