Open Mouths

My dad is incredible at the grill. He can grill anything, and cause you to lose the desire to ever eat out again. There's no steak house out there that could out grill him. As a result my siblings and I spent many hours standing at his feet when he cooked, just waiting for a sampling of chicken, steak, shrimp, or salmon. Even now when my dad walks out the back door with a plate of raw meat, the rest of us casually make our way to the back yard too. It's delicious!
The tradition has made it to the next generation as well. When Alex was 12 months old, he took his place at the feet of "Papa" at the grill and my dad cut him tiny little pieces of steak for him to taste. Annie has started doing the same.
Now I'm not the griller that my father is, but I do cut off little pieces to sample when I do grill so naturally I find little open mouths ready for a taste at my feet. Annie ate all her chicken for dinner outside, right off the grill.

Adorable pictures Penny! Did you take an online photography class or what is at a local college? I can see a big difference in your photography since your class.
